US Grade 6 - 8
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Class will cover tiered vocabulary that is needed to succeed in any science class. This is a 30 min class used to interactively build skills in science to help students transition from elementary to middle or middle to high school with a tool kit to succeed in science classes regardless of the content. Students will explicitly be taught needed vocabulary, then experience this vocabulary through text, video and games.
Learning Goals
The goal is to have a bank of vocabulary as you enter into middle or high school that you can utilize in any science classroom. Students will be able to utilize tiered vocabulary in everyday classroom settings.

One of the essential skills to learning science and succeeding: learning common vocabulary across all sciences. This is a great starting point for the next generation of science learners and many more.
