The Science Skills Coach
This class will teach upcoming middle schools the necessary tiered vocabulary to exceed in middle and high school science classes across the board!

Aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
Class will cover tiered vocabulary that is needed to succeed in any science class. This is a 30 min class used to interactively build skills in science to help students transition from elementary to middle or middle to high school with a tool kit to succeed in science classes regardless of the content. Students will explicitly be taught needed vocabulary, then experience this vocabulary through text, video and games.
This class is taught in English.
The goal is to have a bank of vocabulary as you enter into middle or high school that you can utilize in any science classroom. Students will be able to utilize tiered vocabulary in everyday classroom settings.
Current K-12 Science Educator Taught elementary 3rd-5th grade, Middle school 6-8th grade science, and currently High School Biology and Physical Science Georgia Certified in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Reading, Science and Social Studies, and Board Field High School Science, also Gifted Certified and ESL endorsed.
