US Grade 1 - 3
This 4-week class will be centered around the theme of snow! Who doesn't love SNOW?! Class uses a combination of slides with photographs, video, discussion, lecture and true and false games. I encourage participation. During week 2, we will spend the last part of class working on a creative project (please see supplies needed). I am a fun, responsive and enthusiastic teacher. Students will learn all about what snow is, areas in the world where we see snow, animals that live in the snow and snow activities.
I am a homeschooling mom of three with extensive teaching experience. I've taught students from preschool through graduate school. I am currently a manager at a STEM discovery center and love teaching learners of all ages. I am fun, responsive and enthusiastic.
During week 2, learners will need art material to make a snowy scene. This can be paper, cotton balls, white paint, glitter, crayons, colored pencils, etc. No supplies needed for weeks 1, 3 and 4.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
