Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 9
The Salem Witch Trials have become part of the American Legend and have occupied pop culture for decades. In this one-time class, we will take a brief look at the beginnings of this dark moment in history, what occurred, and what the impact was on the community. We will meet those accused, learn some of the different theories of what caused the hysteria, and learn what happened to those who were deemed guilty. We will also explore modern day Salem (virtually) and discuss why the Witch Trials have captivated pop culture for the past several decades.

This is an introductory course. If you are interested in a more in-depth look at the trials, please check out my 11 week course on the trials.
