The Rendille people are the indigenous desert people of Northern Kenya. They have distinct traditions, customs and culture declared a heritage group in the region. This class will take a peak in their way of life covering:- 1. Their Family Group. 2. Spoken Language. 3. Custom and Culture 4. Mythology. 5. Food and Drink 6. Music 7.Medicine 8. Education 9. How they survive in the desert This class will be caught using Slides, Videos and some Guest teacher when available. This is a series of classes that covers Ethnic and Indigenous people of East Africa. Classes do not have to be taken in any particular order. These are different Ethnic Groups/ Umbrella Families. Other classes include:- ***The Gĩkũyũ People (Bantus) *** Maasai People (Nilotic) *** Luo People (Luopean/Lakeside Nilotes).
