Teacher expertise and credentials
I love teaching Math! I taught high school math at a public school for 8 years until I had the opportunity to work for a Community College, where I currently teach students who are working towards a 2 year degree then transfer to a 4 year university. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus in the high school setting. I currently teach College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Business Calculus at the Community College.

I prefer the smaller classes where I can get to know each student, their learning style, and past successes or challenges in mathematics. I want to be a positive contributor to your child’s math experience, and hope this leads to future interest and success in math and math related courses.

I have been married for 14 years, have 3 kids, enjoy watching and playing sports, and I love to cook. I am usually working on home improvement projects in various stages of development.

I graduated from Ball State University with a Major in Secondary Mathematics, and have a Masters Degree in Teaching Secondary Mathematics from Purdue University.
