Description

Class Experience

Students will learn what it means to have a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset, what the benefits are of having a growth mindset, and statements they can use that cultivates a growth mindset.
As a school social worker, I have been working with students in preschool through 8th grade for 14 years on topics such as coping skills, identifying emotions, and practicing mindfulness.
There is no homework, but students are encouraged to continue practicing growth mindset statements in order for it to become more natural.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
