In this one time class, your child will listen to an interactive read aloud of "The Pout-Pout Fish" and draw/tell about an event from the story.
Class experience
In this class, I will read "The Pout-Pout Fish" by Deborah Diesen. This story will be read interactively and the teacher will encourage the students to sing along with certain parts of the book. Also, we will discuss the character's feelings throughout the story and guess if a sea creature will make the Pout-Pout Fish happy. After reading, the students will be asked a few comprehension questions about the story and will be asked to respond two ways: verbally and with thumbs up, thumbs down. ...
If students choose to draw in addition to telling a major event, they will need: -paper & drawing materials (crayons, colored pencils, markers) or -whiteboard and dry erase marker(s)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
