IEW experience is helpful, but not required. We will work through a 5 paragraph essay, paragraph by paragraph, on a topic of your choosing. (I will provide a list of possible topics). I will teach you how to brainstorm, outline, and write the paragraphs with structure and style, using the IEW essay structure and style writing method. We have been using IEW in our homeschool for 5 years and I am a true believer in the method. As a registered certified instructor, I would like to help other children learn the joy and ease of writing using IEW.
Homework Offered
Students will complete the writing portions of the essay after class. Writing will be submitted via google classroom for review. In order to receive timely feedback before the course ends, students should turn work in on time.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
