𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱! Step into the past and journey across the globe as we uncover the history, significance, and beauty of the New Seven Wonders of the World. From the towering Great Wall of China to the breathtaking Taj Mahal, each week we’ll explore one of these remarkable landmarks, chosen through a historic global campaign. In 2000, a Swiss foundation launched an initiative to identify the New Seven Wonders of the World, inspired by the original list from the 2nd century BCE. With only the Pyramids of Giza still standing, it was time for an update. People around the world embraced the idea, casting over 100 million votes online and via text message. The final list of wonders was revealed in 2007, showcasing humanity's enduring creativity and achievement. In this class, we will: ⭐𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: Learn the fascinating stories behind each wonder—why, how, and when they were built. ⭐𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Use maps to locate these wonders and understand their global significance. ⭐𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Explore the culture and geography of the regions where these wonders are located. ⭐𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲-𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Practice capturing and condensing key information for better understanding. ⭐𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Analyze the importance and legacy of each wonder. ⭐𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Participate in discussions and activities to enhance comprehension.
