Class Experience

In this class, students will learn:

Big Idea: proportional reasoning can be used to find the percent of a number
Vocabulary: percent
Skill: find the percent of a number

This class will start with a problem solving task where students will explore the meaning of percent.  Students will learn about finding the percent of a given number. We will then play Kahoot to gain practice with this skill. 

I believe that all students can learn math to the highest level with enough support, perseverance...

In this class, students will learn:

Big Idea: proportional reasoning can be used to find the percent of a number
Vocabulary: percent
Skill: find the percent of a number

Students should have paper and pencil to work through problems and for the game we will play.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

As we work through the lesson, I will informally assess students' progress and adjust instruction as needed.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
