Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Welcome Scientists! Are you ready to explore the world all around us? Each week in this FLEX course we will focus on a science concept. We will have recorded lessons about physical science, 5 senses, solar system, animals, plants, and more! Once we learn the concept students will also follow along with a recorded lesson to complete a simple science experiment perfect for little learners! Please see the list of items we need for the course in the materials section. Most materials will be things you already have in your home! I would suggest that during the experiment part of the class that an adult help the little scientist if needed. I am excited to meet you!

Class Schedule:
Week 1: What is Science? What do scientist do?
Week 2: What are our Senses?

I will be detailed and step students through each step of the experiment and review the concepts from the lesson. Students will be asked to record a video or share pictures at the end of the experiment sharing their results.

3. Friday: Every week we will play a different interactive game like a scavenger hunt, what's missing?, solve a puzzle, escape room, solve the clues, charades, boom cards, and more to continue reviewing our weekly theme. Students will also be given a mini science reader to print and review.
