In this class we look not only at the lavish lifestyle citizens of Pompeii lived, but also the devastation that wiped out thousands of lives. We’ll look at the homes, the food, and the fashion, as well as what the city looks like now! Class is structured with a meet and greet at the beginning, then students will mute their microphones during the class, but be followed by a question and answer time! Will also mention books and/or documentaries for the children who are interested to dig further in!
Learning Goals
Students will go back in time to see what life was like in the first century, and will be able to ponder the choices they would have made and how it would have affected their outcome.
