Class Experience

It's not uncommon for writers of all ages to experience some difficulty getting the words to flow when they are writing.  In my experience, everyone can write.  As a matter of fact, if you can talk, you can write!  

The main focus of our three days together will be writing kernel essays (short, prompted essays) beginning with the 11-Minute Essay and moving forward with some other fun ones.  That may sound impossible, but I'll guide you through the steps that will help you get your thoughts out of your head and onto that blank page that's been staring at you!

Background Knowledge Needed:
          *  must bring your thoughtfulness;
          *  must be willing to share;
          *  and must have a positive attitude.

Homework:
          *  No homework will be assigned.

Evaluation:  
          *  There will be no test.  Instead, we will share with one another and discuss our progress throughout the sessions.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
