Students will explore the sense of taste, the anatomy of the tongue and how taste travels to the brain where the information is processed. We will then learn how the sense of taste can positively or negatively make us feel.

Description

Class Experience

The learner will learn which body system is utilized to recognize taste. We will explore different types of foods and how they may positively or negatively effect our emotions. 
There will not be any homework assigned. 
 1 file available upon enrollment
The learner is asked to bring a treat that they really enjoy and one they dislike such as an onion. There is a worksheet to download and we will color this in class with colored pencils, markers, or crayons. Also, a notebook or piece of paper and pencil to write on.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will not be a grade for this class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There will not be any sensitive topics.
There are no other sources needed for this class.
