We will discuss the extraordinary human nervous system. We will learn about the anatomy of the human nervous system as well as breaking the entire nervous system down into its two parts to better understand the many different types of nerves that comprise the nervous system. In addition to learning the names of nerves, we will also go over each different type or classification as well. This class uses short lectures over images of the human nervous system, inviting the students to expand upon their current understanding.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how the human nervous is divided into groups, how the different types of nerves are classified, the functions of the different nerve classifications, and the names of major and important nerves.
