The White House has become one of the best known symbols of the United States. For over 200 years, it has represented the Presidency, the United States government, and the people in this nation. In this one time class, we will explore its vast history and the people that have lived there. - Why George Washington chose that site - Who designed it? - Who named it? - How many renovations has it gone through? - Which Presidential families and administrations have changed what? - Who had sheep grazing on the front lawn? - How many bathrooms does it have? - What kind of animals have lived there? - - and more!

Parental Guidance
In this class, we will discuss major moments in American History including slavery, the War of 1812, and Presidents who have died in the White House. All topics will be covered in an age appropriate manner.
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
