Description
Class Experience
In this 7 week flex class, we will examine the History of Aircraft that have been used in military service. We will focus mostly on aircraft used by the United States Armed Forces, however we will also take time to focus on some of the more famous and well-known aircraft used by other countries during wars and conflicts. We will learn about these aircraft, their purpose and usage, their successes and/or failures. We will trace the evolution of military aircraft by walking along the...
Students will develop a historical appreciation for the aircraft used throughout military history.
I have my BA in Social Studies Education and my Masters of Business Administration, and 3 years teaching social studies classes at various middle school & high school levels. Additionally, I have a huge passion for Ancient History, Archaeology, Exploration, Geology, and Aerospace Science which helps me fuel my drive to pass on knowledge and an appreciation of these topics to students. I also, have a passion for American History, including the Revolution & Expansion, as well as the wars and conflicts that the United States has been involved in during it's history.
There will be no official homework for the class, however the teacher will post a few small assignments that will be used to hopefully spur student participation and discussion.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
