Not only will this class start with a bang but it'll end with one too! From Ancient China with the invention of "firecrackers" made out of Bamboo sticks, this class will follow the history of fireworks right up to modern-day fireworks used as a staple of celebration. This interactive class will be taught using pictures and videos to display the evolution of fireworks. A few main points covered will be the science of fireworks, their traditional uses, and their safety and regulation. Like the shimmer and shine of a good fireworks show, this class should be a great time for eager young students to learn about!
Learning Goals
Students will have an understanding of the brief history of fireworks, the science behind them, and their evolving traditions.

My name is Taylor. I have a bachelor's degree in History! I love the story that history unfolds, and when that story is appreciated learning history can be an extremely fun learning experience.
As well as a bachelor's in history, I also have a minor in Economics.
I have two years of experience in tutoring English & History at a college level. I have also completed two years as a teaching assistant at the college level in an English classroom.
As with higher-level education, I also have 6 years of experience teaching preschool age.
