****I do not cancel classes for low enrollment. I love teaching to a single learner or group of students.**** The opening scene is Paris, August 1939. The Louvre, the world famous French art museum, is officially closed for repairs, but in actuality, hundreds of valuable works of art are being secretly relocated as France prepares for possible war with Germany. In our story, a little known art thief, Jean Claude, infiltrated the movers at the Louvre and stole several priceless pieces of art....
Students will sharpen their critical thinking, listening, and observational skills, and practice their social skills as they learn more about World War II.
I have a degree in secondary social studies education, and 14 years of classroom teaching experience, both in public schools and homeschool enrichment classes.
Learners will need paper and pencil to work through our challenges.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Topics related to World War II will be discussed, such as military and political leaders, and battles.
