Description

Class Experience

This informative class will guide the students through the necessary steps on completing a one-page mini business plan for your fashion and/or styling business. Planning is the key to a successful business venture; even in the creative fashion industry. Points to be covered include mission statements, identifying product and or service, and skills needed to succeed in fashion.
Class will have a ice-breaker introduction exercise, PowerPoint slides lecture presentation, student group discussion...

1. Assess opportunities for creating a new fashion business.
2. Define their personal vision and goals.
3. Check to see that their business idea blends with their personal vision and goals.
4. Analyze one’s personal characteristics, skills, and experiences as they relate to entrepreneurship

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Teen Founders
