Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
What is a balanced breakfast?

In this course your student will learn how to cook or bake breakfast dishes (sometimes seasonal) while following a recipe. Your student will learn what they can do to their breakfast to make it balanced so they can have a great start to their day!

Cooking requires reading recipes, measuring ingredients, and managing time efficiently, all of which enhance a child’s math and reading skills, as well as their ability to follow instructions and manage their time. These are critical skills that will serve them well beyond the kitchen. Additionally, cooking is a hands-on activity that can boost self-confidence. The sense of accomplishment children feel when they successfully prepare a meal can be incredibly empowering, nurturing their self-esteem and encouraging them to take on new challenges.
