In this FLEX course students will learn about nematode parasites of humans and the diseases that they cause.

After taking the course  Parasitology Part 1: The Nematodes learners will be able to explain in detail the biology and life history of the parasites they studied and will be familiar with the parasitic diseases they cause and how this impacts humanity.
I have a doctorate in Parasitology and I am a former researcher who specialized in parasite genetics. I have several publications in scientific journals. I have taught Parasitology and other topics in Biology at University.
Homework Offered
Students are asked to return worksheets and quizzes to the teacher for feedback. Students will be asked to write a short report about a case study at the end of the class.
