I have over nine years of experience teaching composition to learners of all ages.

Homework Offered
Students will submit sentences, paragraphs, and final drafts of their typed essay within one week after class ends. All submissions sent in by the due date will receive feedback. Parents should also ensure that homework is sent or posted from the learner's profile. It is important for me to keep up with learner's assignments.

Parents Please Note: I will keep homework to a minimum, but students that take this course need opportunities outside of class to apply what they have learned to their writing. I also feel it is important for their work to be reviewed and given feedback, so that they begin taking accountability for their own learning.

All learners will receive a formal rubric that will have their total score. Parents can easily calculate a number grade based on the rubric; however, I will provide a number/letter score if requested.
