During this ongoing social and interactive class we will spend each week sharing ideas, setting goals, doing small activities, playing games, just chatting, and having fun!
Class experience
This weekly club is simply a place where girls can come to relax, chat, ask questions, share about their week and so much more! Each week will be different... but we will follow a theme during the month, though if a week is missed, it will not take away from the theme. I have been a teacher on Outschool since 2020 and I teach on 2 additional online platforms. I have a biology background, however, I studied US and World History for 3 years in college, as well as 2 years of Chinese. I have also trained in a non-credited format, for many years, with an author and speaker who specializes in teaching children character qualities. I have always enjoyed teaching. My first teaching position was in Moscow, Russia, teaching English as a second language. Since then, I’ve taught in various settings which include a cooperative, a preschool, and as a tutor in the areas of math, science, and English. I also am a homeschool mom! I like being able to help young people feel good about themselves. I have a daughter this age and I know she benefits from having special times to do fun activities, especially from those she can gain new perspectives from.

There will not be assigned homework but I might have videos or suggested reading about topics we talk about.Assessments Offered
Grades Offered
Every week will be different but I will do my best to make sure that most things are around the house. I would suggest paper, markers, colored pencils, a few acrylic paints... anything else I will give ample time to parents to provide. Many projects will hopefully be suggested by the girls themselves!
