Students will: Receive LIVE step-by-step instructions to make tres leches cake Get pro tips Read the recipe before and during class Learn why chefs use mis en place Follow the recipe Make a sponge cake Soak the cake with three milks Frost and garnish the cake Learn the SCIENCE BEHIND the main ingredients Listen to my cultural experiences involving my Hispanic family members and former Latino neighborhood This class will take your basic skills to a higher level. Welcome Parents! I am excited to share this class with your learners. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the expectations and contents of this class. I welcome your assistance off camera with your learner. You know your learner's abilities with the equipment and ingredients listed in this class. Please confer with your child's medical provider about known allergies such as milk, eggs, and flour. I can alter the recipe for lactose intolerant upon request 48 HOURS BEFORE CLASS. The title of this class refers to Hispanic Heritage. Be be aware that tres leches is a wet cake and dairy based dessert. This class focuses on tres leches a popular dessert served in the Hispanic community and will hopefully become a favorite in your home.
