Welcome to the ArKIDecture Academy! In this one time class, students will learn how to draw a basic two-point perspective of skyscrapers. We will use simple tools to learn the two-point drawing technique. I will guide them step by step through the drawing process. Once we have a base drawing, each student will be able to express their own creativity through the individual designs of their skyscrapers. Students will learn how to draw a two-point perspective drawing while also learning about the elements and patterns found in skyscraper design.
I am a practicing architectural designer in the world of residential design. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Master's Degree in Architecture. I have been sharing my passion of architecture through architectural camps and classes for children since 1999.
Students shall provide the following: - 1-2 sheets of white or light colored paper - a ruler or straight edge for drawing straight lines - crayons, markers, or colored pencils (Parents can choose what medium would be best for their child)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
