The ArKIDecture Academy: One on One Custom Architecture Lessons (On-going)

Hello ArKIDects!  
Thank you for joining me for this one on one custom architecture class!  

Have you wanted to design your own skyscraper?  or build a model of your own house?  or maybe you are an ArKIDecture Academy Allstar and you are ready to take your architecture lesson to another level?!  If this is you, it is time to schedule a one on one custom ArKIDecture class!  

Parents: I will communicate with you (via conversations in Outschool.com) prior to class to customize an appropriate class for your learner/s, discuss what materials will be needed, and what dates/times will work best.  Once everything is agreed upon, I will send you a link for your learner/s private one on one architecture class.  

In class we will work at a pace that is appropriate for your learner/s. I always encourage creativity, inspiration, and sharing as we design together.  My goal is to provide a relaxed, educational, creative, and happy classroom atmosphere.  

A sample coursework schedule is as follows: 
Week 1 - Week of October 22-28: Introduction to architecture. We will discuss the definition of architecture, types of architecture, and blueprints. 
Week 2 - Week of October 29-November 4: Blueprints. We will assemble a set of blueprints and discuss the specific types of drawings that make up a set of blueprints.
Week 3 - Week of November 5-November 11: Drawing Floor Plans: we will work together to formulate a bubble diagram for the floors of the house/building. From the bubble diagram, we will design a working floor plan to include doors, windows, and furniture. 
Week 4 - Week of November 12-November18: Drawing Elevations. We will use the previously designed floor plans to execute four elevations of the house/building.
