The class provides a safe and supportive environment for both experienced gamers and newcomers to the Terraria universe. Facilitators with expert knowledge of the game guide participants, offering tips and advice to optimize gameplay and enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the class encourages healthy competition and friendly interaction, allowing learners to bond and celebrate achievements together. Learners will collaborate with each other to form teams, fostering a sense of togetherness and promoting quality family time. Each team embarks on an epic journey through the vast and diverse world of Terraria, facing formidable boss creatures that require coordination and cooperation to overcome. Learners will be taught how to play the game if they are new to the game. We will cover the structure of the game and how to be creative in solving difficult problems in the game. The class is structured in such a way that new learners may join and leave as they please. Learners will be able to interact with each other and me in the game. Learning Goals

Parental Guidance
This class uses Terraria. The game requires each learner to have a Steam account. The class also uses tModLoader, a free tool on the Steam app store that lets you easily configure and load mods. Your learner's Gamertag will be shared with me during the class. However, I only communicate with students through a separate account I have created for the purpose of outschool, I do not share my personal Gamertag information, and I do not communicate with students outside of class time unless the communication is done on the Outschool platform.
