40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class is meant to teach learners how to tell time using an analog clock! Learners will learn to tell the time in 5-minute increments. First we will learn about the hour hand and minute hands. We will discuss the difference between morning and night times. We will also learn how to read minutes on an analog clock. Learners should attend class with a premade clock (see instructions below). If that is not possible, students should attend class with a piece of paper and a pencil so that they can draw clocks in circles! I am happy to provide a resource to print, or the circles can just be drawn if there is no printer at home.

Parental Guidance
It is recommended that your learner brings a paper plate clock, or another analog clock to class to practice telling time. This is not mandatory but it's proven students learn better with something to physically touch! A paper plate labeled 1-12 and two pieces of paper representing the minute hand and hour hand secured by a brad would work just fine.
