Welcome to The Musical Movie Club! Each week we will watch a movie musical in our own time, then come together in class to watch clips and discuss what we love (or don't love!) about the movie. Learners will not only get to talk about the musicals they are passionate about, but they will learn how to dissect, review and defend their point of view with a group of peers. As with most musicals, some of these will have mature content and/or serious topics. Please review the musical assigned before you allow your teen to watch it if you are at all worried about the content of these stories.
Having a Netflix and Disney+ subscription is helpful to access the movies. Most of the ones I pick will be available on those platforms
