Mastery Evaluation
1 hour per week. Learners will be challenged to reflect on what was discussed during each session, or to take action on something such as a goal they've set or taking note of certain experiences or thoughts.Class Experience
These teen confidence coaching sessions are designed to boost teens' confidence, develop resilience, and enhance communication skills through engaging and interactive sessions with a certified personal coach. Sessions will be free-flowing based on what the learner wishes to talk about and focus on, with structure provided to keep the learner focused and inspired. We cover personal growth topics such as thinking for yourself, self-identity, overcoming self-doubt, effective communication, building resilience, positive thinking, goal-setting, handling peer pressure, and more. The coaching style is dynamic and supportive, and there will be some class sessions that will feel quite different from the next session -- based primarily on what comes up for the learner. Active participation is required and consistent personal reflection and development is encouraged. Join us for a fun and insightful journey becoming more confident and more connected to yourself and others.

Parental Guidance
In these one-on-one coaching sessions, I prioritize creating an open and supportive environment for the learner, and challenge the learner to think deeper and more intentionally about themselves and their lives.
While discussing topics such as overcoming self-doubt, handling peer pressure, and building resilience, I recognize that some content may be sensitive or triggering for some learners. Open communication is encouraged, but students will not be pressured to participate when they are not open to doing so. Parents are advised to ensure their teens have a quiet, private space for sessions and to be available for support if any discussions come up that have them seeking their support.
Please note: These sessions will NOT be discussing diagnosed medical conditions, trauma, or grief. These are forward-looking, positive growth mindset sessions.

I'm an experienced and certified personal/life coach (Master Certified by the Certified Life Coach Institute) with a focus on confidence, creative and critical thinking, gratitude, clarity, intentionality, truth, resilience, and taking action in one's life. I host virtual group coaching sessions for my adult clients that share the essential principles offered in this teen club. I have personal experience inspiring older teens in my life to think clearer and deeper about their life and future (to be more intentional, focused and confident), and have helped them work through their thoughts and ideas in a way that empowers them with newfound confidence. I've also taught separate critical thinking and life purpose classes for teens on Outschool, and have spent time observing and learning from an experienced former public school teacher (current homeschool teacher) of teenagers in order to get an even deeper understanding of the unique learning needs of this age group to offer the most value possible to students.
