Description
Class Experience
SWBAT: Develop listening skills as students share ideas, information and opinions. SWBAT: Develop speaking skills as students share ideas, information and form opinions. SWBAT: Develop critical thinking skills relating to a wide variety of topics.
Ted Talks lead to thoughtful discussions between adults so why can't kids discuss what's important to them. Let's all think critically, listen to different viewpoints and have fun in the process. Kids ideas and opinions matter and we will discuss them here! I've been trained in socratic teaching style and have been fortunate enough to lead this type of group in the past with homeschoolers with rave results. Training: Great Books Learning Modalities, Ambleside Teacher training, Teaching Certificate Grades 1-8 (Alverno College) and 15 years of practical experience.
