Week 1Lesson 1Learning About Writing RubricsDay 1# HOMEWORK: Students will view assignment for writing rubrics. They will work on the writing task assigned andcturn it in as a complete Assessments in Writing. Day 2: MEETING: Students will review writing task in class. They will be given new assignments and work towards understanding a writing Rubric. Students will be given a writing Rubric to use throughout the course.Week 2Lesson 2Writing Proper Letters & EmailsDay 1# HOMEWORK: Students will view assignment for Home. They will work on the writing task assigned and turn it in as a completed assignment in Writing. Day 2: MEETING: Students will review the former writing task in class. They will be given new assignments and work towards it. Students will finish this course with a writing task on Writing Proper Letters & Emails. This will be Students final Assessment and should be turned in.Week 3Lesson 3Writing NarrativesDay 1# HOMEWORK: Students will view assignment for Home. They will work on the writing task assigned and turn it in as a completed assignment in Writing. Day 2: MEETING: Students will review the former writing task in class. They will be given new assignments and work towards it. Students will finish this course with a writing task on writing Narratives. Students will Gain experience Writing Proper Letters, Reports, Articles, Narratives, Email Communications, and Responses to Situations and Stimulus. Learn about Expository Writing: Students will learn about presenting information, explanations, or opinions in an organized and logical manner, using facts, examples, and transitions. Descriptive Writing: They will be introduced to using vivid language and sensory details to create vivid images and evoke emotions in the reader. Writing Process: They will understand the writing process, including prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. Grammar and Mechanics: Students will demonstrat proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure.

I love teaching writing. I teach reading, writing, speaking, socratic (discussion) circles, book club, and many courses in English Language Arts.
I teach ESL English as a Second Language. Students of varying abilities whether they are beginners, intermediate or more advanced with the language.
