Tear It Up!: A Tear Paper Collage Lesson -Small Group

During this 40-minute session, kids will create vibrant collages using colorful paper and glue. They'll learn how to tear paper and use glue to craft unique designs. All they'll need is about five sheets of different colored paper and some glue. This is a small group class that won't cancel even with just one student.

The teacher will demonstrate tearing paper and arranging the pieces to create interesting compositions. Kids will then get to work, laying out and overlapping paper pieces to make their own abstract collages.

Students are encouraged to add their own creative touches and ask questions as they work. At the end, they'll have a chance to share their collages with their peers. Along the way, they'll learn some art basics like lines, shapes, and how to compose visual art. It's an engaging and imaginative class for kids to explore their creativity!"
