Meeting twice a week, students engage in hands-on activities and solve real-world math problems, from everyday scenarios to fun, magical challenges. - Students will learn and review: • Place value and expanded form of numbers • How to estimate products and quotients • How to identify and simplify fractions • Tips and tricks for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions • What is a ratio? • How to calculate area, perimeter, and volume • How to convert measurements • How to plot coordinates • How to identify reflections, rotations and translations
I have been teaching math for over 9 years to all ages and grade levels. I have a passion for making math fun and accessible to all!
