Anime and manga are popular Japanese art forms that have given life to several famous characters that have inspired many in both the Spanish-speaking world and the English-speaking world. In this immersive ongoing class, students will talk about anime and manga in Spanish. This is a great opportunity for students to use and develop their Spanish skills while talking about one of their favorite interests. 

There will be a topic each week to help guide our conversation as we discuss different aspects of anime and manga such as: favorite characters, favorite intros, character development, world-building, etc. During the lessons, I will take on more of the role of a facilitator to ensure that students get turns to speak and share their opinions. Students should have at least an intermediate level of Spanish but I will help students with phrasing and grammar in Spanish if they need any assistance. The last 5 minutes of each class will be reserved for students to show off any anime or manga-related artwork they have created.
