Taylor Swift Intro to Piano Staff Reading - Semester 2

Join me for a full semester of Taylor Swift songs! If you are a big fan of Taylor Swift, and you want to start learning to play the piano and read staff sheet music, this is the perfect class for you.

All arrangements of sheet music of sheet music in these crash courses are arranged by the teacher but must be sold off-platform due to copyright restrictions. All lyrics are kid-friendly, shortened (usually just the chorus), and parent-approved!

The schedule/ syllabus may be adjusted per learner needs, so some songs at the end of the list may be excluded to ensure concept mastery and quality of performance for the previous songs. (If you still want to learn more and we don't get to it, just message me and we'll set up a 1:1 lesson.)


Each lesson will include: 

     🎵     Song sing-along

     🎵     Introduction to new staff music reading skills

     🎵     Song Play Along (playing in parts, then the entire song)

     🎵     Bonus Activities - one or more of the following:

            🎹    Play a Music Theory Game

            🎹    Practice Reading or Writing on the Staff


Students will need to come ready with:

    🎹    Sheet Music Purchased & Printed

    🎹    Keyboard or Piano 

    🎹    Zoom App with ORIGINAL SOUND ON.  (See Parental Guidance section)


Classes will build on knowledge from one class to the next. Practice between classes is highly recommended. Access to a keyboard/piano and view of the screen while playing is required to participate during class time. Please print or set up access to sheet music and/or worksheets for use between classes.
