Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Advanced Level
I use an interactive teaching style that encourages students to explore, create, and share their thoughts. The course is designed to be engaging and fun, with a mix of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Each class will start with a brief explanation of key concepts, followed by a discussion about the song or topic for that session. We’ll listen to Taylor Swift’s songs, analyze the lyrics together, and discuss the meanings behind them.
I’ll guide students through group discussions where they can share ideas and brainstorm lyric-writing exercises. These activities will help them practice the techniques they’re learning and get feedback from their peers. Students will apply the concepts from each session by writing their own lyrics, working on songwriting exercises like rhyming or creating metaphors. This will help them build confidence and develop their own unique writing styles
