Do you love Taylor Swift? So do I! Let's get together and discuss everything we love about Taylor, her music, music videos, performances, lyrics, activism, Netflix documentary, and more! Have you attended a Taylor Swift concert or event before? Then bring a few photos to share with the group! Do you have any cool T.Swift memorabilia-- books, shirts, posters, etc.? Then bring it to show off! This fan club will be whole-group and teacher-led. Students will be prompted through various questions and invited to share their thoughts and opinions with the rest of the class. Students will also partake in some fun Taylor Swift trivia! Let's have fun, socialize, and chat about one of the best pop stars in modern years, Ms. Taylor Swift!
Learning Goals
Students will learn:
-Recognition and expression of their own opinions regarding Taylor Swift and her music, etc.;
-The opinions of their classmates regarding Taylor Swift and her music, etc.
Students may POSSIBLY learn something NEW that they don't already know about Taylor; it all depends on how Taylor-obsessed they are and what they already know!

Parental Guidance
Taylor Swift has been known to publicly support and advocate for LGBTQ and women's rights. Students who do not support LGBTQ or women's rights may find offense to remarks or opinions that other classmates may or may not share during class. At the very beginning of class, the teacher will be sure to set ground rules for the class to inform students that no hateful speech, bullying, laughing at others, etc., will be tolerated. If any student chooses to partake in that type of hateful behavior, then he/she will be booted from our online classroom.
Supply List
If you have any Taylor Swift gear, memorabilia, photos, posters, books, etc., feel free to bring them to class to share with us! Besides that, you only need to show up with a smile and a positive attitude!

I am a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, and I have been since 2008! In fact, I attended one of her concerts all the back in 2009, and I have remained an avid fan since! I love all of her albums, I own one collector's edition, and I watched her documentary on Netflix the day it premiered. I LOVE Taylor, and I think she is a wonderful role model for young women everywhere! Reviews
