Let’s talk about the hidden gems of Taylor Swift’s songs and videos. In many, if not, all of her music videos and songs, she has hidden ‘Easter eggs’ and cryptic clues for years. This class will be a fun experience for Swifties to dive in and study it. We will talk a little bit about Taylor Swift’s life and career. We will discuss some of the popular songs in this album, dive in to some of her songwriting, and discuss clues and stories behind the lyrics. We will also learn and review the topics of  “foreshadowing” and “what Easter eggs are” so the learners understand how to decipher these lyrics. The class will be an open discussion with the teacher facilitating the learning through guided discussion. I like to provide opportunities for students to discuss their ideas while still staying focused on the subject. Students will get to interact with me and each other through a series of question and answer open discussions that are based off of their opinion about the lyrics and songs in the featured lesson. There is no required experience or previous knowledge required for this class.

In this class, we will discuss songs from Taylor Swift's album, "Reputation". 

The basic class outline will include a learning more about the life of Taylor Swift. 
-We will review what foreshadowing and Easter Eggs are. 
-Then, we will review some of the song lyrics from the featured album "Reputation".
-Next, Easter Egg theories will be discussed and shared from the class members. 
-We will conclude with looking over a particular song from the album and look for the Easter Eggs together.
