Parental Guidance
In Tasty Tales: Cooking through Literacy, we encourage parents to provide guidance based on their child's skill level during the culinary adventures. Learners may need assistance with measuring, cutting, or mixing, depending on their familiarity with kitchen tasks. To enhance the experience, we recommend having a kid-safe knife, a suitable cutting board, and a space that allows for mess-making and learning from mistakes. For a smoother flow, grown-ups can measure out ingredients in advance and have them ready for each session. This proactive approach ensures that children can focus on the joy of storytelling and hands-on cooking without feeling overwhelmed. With your support, we aim to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment where both literacy and culinary skills flourish!
