Students will start with discussing topics they love, and then learn and participate in more structured discussions prompted by their instructor in debate, personal shares/narrative, persuasive speaking, informative speaking and storytelling.

Building speaking skills is a lifelong requirement, one that even older, articulate humans struggle with! Practicing now will help build confidence so that focus can be given to critical thinking, speaking habits, and articulation. Nothing can replace practice when it comes to becoming a strong speaker. Start your practice here!

Students who are shy, ESL or reluctant to speak are encouraged to join!

I focus on social emotional learning for elementary aged students in Speech, Dance, and Life Skills classes.

I hold a BA in Speech and am a certified social emotional and character development educator. I am a recipient of the Forensic Academic Achievement Award and Scholarship for achievements in both academics and debate and dramatic Interpretation.

I believe understanding and managing emotions, finding healthy outlets and honoring one's uniqueness are the keys to healthy living. To me, emotional health outweighs anything we can learn in school, but with it, we can achieve greater success in academics, the workplace and in life!

I love to travel the world, dance, and take road trips with my dog, Oscar.
