By the end of the course, you'll know how to confidently use your camera in manual mode as well as the various automatic and partially automatic modes.

Technically, that means you'll understand ISO, shutter speed, aperture, how to change each of them and why you would want to. You'll understand how to use manual focus and auto focus, how to choose the right lens for a given situation, and will have an understanding of most of the buttons and dials you see on the camera body.

I've been a professional photographer since 2001 and have a wide range of photography experience, including many years photographing babies and children. I've been teaching photography for over ten years to professional photographers, enthusiasts and teens through group workshops, private lessons and online classes. 

I'm recognized as a Master Photographer by the Professional Photographers of America and was also awarded the organization's Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of my work teaching other professional photographers. 

Homework Offered
Each week I'll assign hands-on camera work to be completed and submitted before the next class. Homework can typically be completed in less than an hour, but learners who are enjoying the assignment and want to push themselves may find themselves spending more time with it.
