One of the effective ways to connect with a language is through music. Learning Tagalog through music is the primary goal of this class. In each class, students will be introduced to some Filipino (folk) songs. This is a themed class. Students will learn vocabulary words and phrases related to the theme and the song. Students will follow along to the words and tune which will be guided by the teacher. I will also check the students' comprehension and pronunciation. I will be adding related activities to enhance the learning experience. By the end of the class, students should be able to sing the song on their own. Class participation is encouraged. If your child likes to sing and enjoys learning something new, this class might be something they would enjoy.
