This tutoring program will help students with grammar, sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and content development. This is a wonderful way for students to work on College Application Essays and other academic writing.

US Grade 9 - 12
This one-on-one tutoring focuses on the growth and development of students' writing at a high school level. It is an ideal place for students to work on grammar, sentence structure, thought development, and word choice. Students will be taught based on their unique learning needs, such as visuals through sentence mapping, auditory songs about parts of speech, and kinesthetic sentence structure puzzles. Students can bring writing that they are currently working on or assignments that they do not know how to start. This is a great way for students to receive feedback on College Application Essays.

Learning Needs
For students who need a more visual approach, we will do sentence mapping, grammar puzzles, and formulas, and work on note-taking through drawings.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have completed 8th Grade ELA.
Supply List
Students should bring their writing assignments, rubrics, and any other materials they need help with.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
