As an Eagle Scout and avid outdoorsman I have spent the past 15 years of my life hiking, camping, exploring, and surviving. I am also a credential teacher with a masters in curriculum and instruction. By combining my knowledge of teaching and the outdoors I seek to educate your scholar on life saving practices. This class will be taught in ways that makes it engaging and exciting for students so that they can best learn the content. Using a slide deck presentation the majority of the class with consist of teaching using pictures, real world examples, questions, and dialogue. At the end of the lesson there will be a 5 question interactive trivia guessing game on the material learned in class. All of my classes are student centered and student paced. If a student needs more time on a topic we take that time. If a student is needed more challenging content I work to give them that. I am here for all learners.
