Black cats, broken mirrors, lucky pennies, ringing ears, and so much more! Around the world there are hundreds of superstitions that some swear by and others think are downright odd. Without making judgments about them, let's simply strive to understand them. We won't agree with all (or perhaps any) of them (and we don't need to), but we can certainly learn a little bit about other people and their beliefs. Meaningful participation in discussion is encouraged, but no one will be put on the spot to speak.
