Superhero Science
Through this course, students will learn scientific terms and vocabulary by comparing their favorite superheroes to the source of their powers. Is a fun way to learn 2nd-3rd Grade Level Science and more.

We will use comparison and analysis via questions to find similarities and differences between a superhero's powers and their source of power and the abilities they display. Using thumbs up or thumbs down we can approve or disapprove their likeness comparing Classification, Habitat, Life Cycle, Anatomy, Diet, and Abilities. For example, how Spider-Man compare to a Spider or Storm to a Hurricane. We will cover 1-2 heroes per class, and at least 10-20 Science vocabulary words each day we meet, included in the lesson. I will provide a list of the vocabulary of for each day and worksheets for practice. Students will be encourage to participate, but they do not need to interact to be a part of the class.
