In this course, students will learn about measuring height and speed. They will be able to find the speed some of the super fast superheroes. They will also compare the heights of superheroes to ordinary humans.

Description

Class Experience

Students will learn about measuring height and comparing heights of different people. They will also learn about measuring speed. We will be using the examples of superheroes. Students will share their favorite superheroes. They will learn how superheroes compare with ordinary humans. 

Students will also learn different ways that superheroes use math to be "super". We will discuss moments in the stories of superheroes where we see them use math to help them win over evil.
