Join me for exciting STEM exploration with this one-time class designed for budding engineers and scientists alike. In this unique class, participants will learn about aerodynamics by crafting their very own parachutes from simple, everyday materials. Through hands-on experimentation and guided instruction, learners will uncover the principles of gravity and drag that govern airborne objects. I will lead learners through the STEM process: from posing questions and imagining possibilities, to meticulous planning, hands-on creation, improvement, and the joy of sharing with peers. This interactive experience encourages participants to explore diverse strategies and ideas as they refine their parachute designs. It's an ideal opportunity for those who love hands-on challenges and problem-solving.
